The Brand
La Balme is an emerging brand introducing a debut product line focused on natural recovery formulas. Their offerings, from CBD-based remedies to creams and lip balms, feature a unique blend of CBD, menthol, and beeswax designed to help those with active lifestyles recover like pros.
Rooted in extreme sports, the founders come from backgrounds in big wave surfing and freestyle skiing. The brand name, La Balme, is inspired by a renowned mountain in the French Alps, celebrated for its legendary freeride skiing community.
The Brief
With this unique origin story at heart, we aimed to shape the brand's creative direction around a retro sports and ski aesthetic. This approach helped the products not only stand out on shelves but also firmly embrace their extreme sports heritage.
By collaborating with world champion skiers and notable extreme sports athletes as brand ambassadors, we highlight the inherent risks of extreme sports as a distinctive selling point for their recovery-oriented product range.
The Work
Our project included developing new branding, launching their website, and crafting a comprehensive creative brand strategy.
We also partnered closely with La Balme at their inaugural major ski event held in the ski resort 'Balme'. Here, we directed all aspects of the event, from content creation and brand visibility to converting into advertising following the event, ensuring a cohesive and impactful 360° new brand delivery.
